The Koscielak Gallery (Koscielak Gallery in Chicago, and Koscielak Gallery in Wroclaw) represents contemporary art in a broader transcultural context. Art works shown at the Koscielak Gallery reflects the complexity and diversity of current aesthetic practices, spanning cultures and disciplines, and creating a bridge between new media and established art forms. The Koscielak Gallery is a Global - Local (GLOCAL) Art Platform providing an opportunity for their international clientele to experience the constantly changing contemporary art scene. Koscielak Gallery promotes a strong and unique curatorial program based on very personal, individual approaches to the exhibition process.
Both founders of the Koscielak Gallery; Gosia Malgorzata Koscielak, MFA, Ph.D. and Elzbieta Koscielak MA, member of AICA- International Association of Art Critics, has a transcultural vision of their galleries which reflects aesthetic and interpersonal communications that span time and cultural space; they focus on a fluid, and personal dialogue in art. Since 1987 they promote international, contemporary art and artists through a series of co-produced curatorial projects committed to a series of themes which they conceptualized - Transcultural Visions, Crossmediale, New Eco, In Transit, Mythos/ AntiMythos, and many more. As well as through public space projects, online and virtual reality projects, and gallery performances and lectures as well as an independent curatorial projects for different art venues internationally.
